Targ4 is the fourth meeting dedicated to the last targetry advances for laser-driven particle acceleration and laser radiation sources. The previous editions of this workshop were held in October 2013 (Targ1) in Garching (Germany), April 2015 (Targ2) in Paris (France), and June 2017 (Targ3) in Salamanca (Spain). The TargN workshop series brings together experts and key players in the field of superintense laser-matter interaction, with a particular focus on the targetry issue.
TARG4 main topics include advanced target production and novel target schemes, high precision alignment for high repetition rate experiments, laser technology development, diagnostic techniques, and application of laser-driven radiation sources. The meeting will give young researchers and PhD students an excellent opportunity to present their results to a vast community, as well as to be trained in the most recent and advanced topics in the field laser-driven particle acceleration.
TARG4 will be held in Milan, Italy, from 10th to 12th June 2019 at Politecnico di Milano. More information about important dates, registration procedure, scientific and social program will be published soon.
